Metallurg Magnitogorsk took their third Tampere Cup championship in four years as they beat Ilves 4-2 in the final. Blues became third after winning Dinamo Riga 4-3. HPK won Tappara 2-1 after a shootout, and took the 5th place in the tournament.
This summer the Tampere Cup will be played at Hakametsä Arenas for the 20th time! The anniversary tournament is held from Wednesday 13th of August to Saturday 16th of August.
Along with the local organizers, Ilves and Tappara, there are last year's champions Blues from Finland, Metallurg Magnitogorsk from Russia, Dinamo Riga from Latvia, and HPK from Finland participating this summer.
